Hello folks. Three new designs are currently being made ready for upload. A frog and a reindeer from myself but much more exciting is a welcome return from previous balloondesigns owner Donna Jaffke as she shares her wonderful Abby Cadabra Design. Thank you for the kind words about the latest additions to the site many of you seem to have had a lot of fun with the Santa design despite it being completely out of season!

I haven't been paying much attention to the site blog. This was recently brought to my attention as someone joined then unjoined when they assumed the site hadn't been updated since November '04! A lot has happened since the last time I blogged here: The free section has had a major overhaul. with several new instructions, a new format and stylish, funky bubble diagrams. I also included some help pages on reading bubble diagrams as I think they are a very useful and regretfully under-rated way of explaining designs. We have had 2 guest artists; Bonnie Davis and Patrick van de Ven who have provided some great designs for members and a design each for the free section. Lots of new designs for members. Here are some that come to mind off the top of my head: Giant Pirate sword, Ogre on a stick, Manipulation mouse, Wolverine, Ship in a bottle, Sea Lion, Rabbit, Dolphin, Fairy Wand, Hulk, Chicken, Garfield, Hippo, shark, Tall ships, Sleepyhead, Hangman hat, Monster hat and Sponge Bob 2. Next item on the agenda is to embed some videos in the entertainment section and also to put some Christmas designs up. All the best, George |

| Well, I haven't updated this in a while. In fact the updates have been a little slow to the whole site. Most notably the new designs. Fear not I had a lot of little jobs to do around, the site, as well as a whole hoo-haa when the PC got hacked and I had to rebuy all the software for the site. Anyhow ,lots planned for the run up to Christmas including some seasonal models, a few routines and also a few scary designs I was unable to load for Halloween. New today is a fun verbal routine for entertaining younger kids about Santa. Members only I'm afraid. |

| Entury Entury? Long time no C. Have been having a few computer problems which has meant that I've not been able to update the site for a while. I have ,however, been working away off-line on a few new projects and more site tweaking. I've bought some fancy new software for the site (Macromedia suite including dreamweaver) which means the site should be a lot more user friendly in future. I've added another section to the Account help section. Some people were finding that they could not get into the Member's section . I took the problem to an expert and came to the conclusion this may be due to some folk's cookie settings. Full details are outlined here. The account help section should now cover all possible password problems Instructions for "The Brain" have gone up in the members section. Plus three more designs for members only: Tweety Bird, Piglet and a Crazy Eye Ball Puppet I'm still working away at the new member's only routines after a bit of a set-back losing some of the files. So, I missed my 10 day target by a fair whack. Also a few new free instructions need to go up and some Easter Designs too. |

| Hello, Well, I've managed the first three things on 'George's things-to-do list'. Which means I have:
But first, important news as we have our first password change since the change of ownership. This also means I will be sending out my first balloondesigns.net announcements e-mail. Please keep an eye on your mail-box. If the e-mail gets filed in the bulk or spam folder then you should filter the address back to your inbox so as you don't miss any new password changes. There will be a big banner displayed on the main page telling members that the e-mail has been sent so as anyone who has not received the new password can let me know. I hope everyone had a nice Valentines day. |

| Hi, I've added a few things since my last entry
here. Firstly a forum. The forum at the moment is members only and the
link can be found on the members main page. I introduced this feature
because I thought it would give the site more of a community spirit. Many
members are in touch with each other but formerly there was no central
place for everyone to meet up and exchange thoughts. Please join up and
introduce yourself and share your thoughts on balloondesigns, entertaining,
problems and life in general. In the future I may change the forum into
a public feature of the site as it may entice a few more people to join
up. With this in mind please do not type the password unto the forum. New Guest Book added. I needed a Guest book that was in tune with the new layout of the site. The new book also has smileys .What fun. Also, I wanted to keep password enquires etc separate from guest book entries since we now have an account help page to deal with that. Please sign the book. What next? Well there are several things that are on of my list of things to do with regards to the site. Here they are in order of priority
I will try and get this list completed in the next 10 days. If reading this list you think I have my priorities wrong then e-mail me and let me know. I have lots of other plans for the site including a very cool Hot air balloon design that I'm sure you will love if the reaction I get from them is anything to go by but in the mean-time I'm basing my priorities on the feedback of members and visitors to the site. |

| New design added today. Funky Green Dude Bracelet.
A really fun little fellow that you wear on your wrist. Instructions available
to members only I'm afraid. Also, I've never properly introduced myself to everyone. I'm M.G.Quinn AKA Magic George. I'm a full-time entertainer based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. I've been designing balloons for about ten years and got into web design a few years ago to build my own site to advertise my services. The site in question is www.magicgeorge.co.uk. You can also find out more about me by looking at my portfolio or Artist of the Month Review at balloonhq.com. I'll be sending out an introductory e-mail in the near future to all the members. I'll let you know, in here, when I send them out so you can make sure you received yours. This will be sent out with the next password, sorry it's been a while to get around to this but I thought everyone would appreciate it if I made working on the site itself a priority. |

| Hi folks. This section has just been added to
keep you all up to date with what's happening with the site. It's here
you give you some insight to what's going on and why. It should help you
see what direction the site is going in and keep you up-to-date on any
developments. It will also be a place for my own general musings and will
be kept quite informal. The diary/blog will run kind of backwards since you will want to read the most recent news first (at the top) What's happened so far? Well, since the ownership you may have noticed a big overhaul in the style of the site. There's a few gadgets and gizmos to make finding things easier (especially for members). There is a techniques section added to the members section which will build as the designs keep coming and hopefully work in harmony with the current instructions. New designs added since the take-over include the Hulk, a plane, a new Sponge Bob, a new ghost, a bed and a rocket-ship. Many more to follow. Today I added an account help section specially for help with passwords and problems. Also a small contact section to make it easier to get in touch with me. I've also confirmed all the details with our first guest artist: Rick Mohr. I'm very much looking forward to having some of his designs on our site. You can support the Guest Artist system by buying their products. Which won't be a bad thing because they all sell great products. |
