A second version of Sponge Bob as requested by members. This fun sculpture is a bold simple design with a few neat details to make it a winner.
This design utilises the two-balloon-weave/flat-weave , a technique which is covered in detail in the techniques section.Click here to view

Blow two yellow (solid) 260's up leaving about 3 inches uninflated. Weave them together in a two-balloon-weave/flat-weave. The weave is about 5 inches across.
On the third rung of the weave twist one of the bubbles going across in the middle
Once you have finished the 5th rung on the weave, stop. You should now have a 5"x 9" rectangle with about 5 inches of balloon left over on each side.
Blow up a white 260. Put a pinch twist on the end then follow with a 2 " bubble. Twist it here to the yellow leaving a yellow bubble between the twist and the weave.
Continue by twisting a small loop with the white. Break off and tie of the rest of the yellow balloon now.
Twist the white over to the yellow on the other side. Twist a small loop as before. Break off and tie off the other yellow.
Another 2" bubble then a pinch twist with the white then break it off too.
Twist the two pinch twists together.
Blow up a solid yellow 160 and burp (the balloon, smarty-pants). Twist a bubble a loop then two pinch twists to form a hand. Then twist another hand the same on the other end.
Fold the 160 so the hands are together and twist a nose in the middle.
Gently open up the weave push the nose under the two* breadth bubbles and twist in place.

*The bubbles mentioned are the one with the twist in it and the one beside the twisted one to the side where the white was added
Twist the 160, on each side, to the white loop. Tuck any 160 between the shoulder and the nose inside the weave.
Now put that bit down somewhere away from dogs etc and go acquire two cocoa brown 260's, please.
Mr Squarepant's square pants:
Twist a small bubble in each end (not a pinch twist) and twist the two together as you would for a flat weave.
Continue on to the second layer as you would for a weave except this time twist each of the crossing bubbles in the middle.
Roll the two sides of the base of the pants in opposite directions to twist middle twist. Break off and tie off the remainder of the brown. Save the brown scraps/bubbles.
Another yellow 160. Break off a couple of leg-sized pieces
Grab the knot from one of the 160's and push it through one of the 'pant legs' pairs of balloons. Reaching in from the top of his pants grab the knot and pull it up!! Wrap knot around brown bubble. This will keep the legs on and the shorts together.
Secure pants to Bob by wrapping nozzles/knots on brown balloons around white loops.
Give him eyes by twisting a 6" heart in half then twisting to nose.

Take a red 646 and cut a point about 2 inches down from nozzle. stick the nozzle end in between white pinch twists for tie. Cut a tongue sized piece from 646 remaining and and stick it in between bottom two bars on yellow weave.
With the scraps of brown you saved earlier: give Bob shoes. A loop and a pinch twist will be ok for shoes.

Draw on the rest. Bob is finished. If you wanted more detail on the design you could try putting white 646's over the yellow 160 and giving him socks.
I like using the 160 unbroken for the nose and arms. You may find the design easier if you add the arms and nose as separate pieces, find out what works for you.
