A quick chicken for when you're in a hurry. |

Inflate a red/chicken coloured balloon up leaving about a 3 tail Start by twisting 3 small pinch twists in the end. Use the knot to hold the first PT in place. |

Follow this with a largish bubble for the head. Do two large pinch twists . The small pinch twists are at 90 degrees to the big ones. |

A bubble about the same size as the head for the neck. A pinch twist and a four inch lock twist. |

Tuck the remaining 260 through the lock twist. Bend it so it sits as shown. |

Take a yellow 260 (you can also use a 160 for more skinny chickeny legs) twist a large bubble for the foot and a pinch twist for the heel. Push yellow though red as shown. |

Bring leg back down and twist to foot. Break off and tie off the end. Either keep other scrap inflated too and let air out until it looks like a beak or put scrap to the side and blow up as necessary when needed. |

Bring knot from scrap through the large pinch twists for beak. Draw,stamp,stick or conjure on eyes. |

Just a quick chicken, it'll do the job a pinch. The chicken lends itself to a bit of visual comedy because the body
can be positioned easily at different angles to the legs. Tip the chicken forwards and use your thumb and forefinger on each leg to bend the whole chicken in a jerking motion so it looks like it's eating. For restaurant work, you can pretend that it's trying to eat from a child's plate or pecking corn from your hand. |
