This is a shrek Parody that I came up with for the 3rd film. I needed something quick but impressive.

The most important part of a parody is usually the head. When you want to show your skills but need to make a large amount, a simple idea is to make wands or single balloon bodies and then put a more detailed head on the top. I made this simple design where the head bobs around on the end of a white 260. The cinema full of Shrek heads bobbing around with ears a'flapping looked quite a sight.

Start with by fully inflating a white 260. Make two large pinch twists in the end.

Blow up a lime green 260 leaving a few inches of tail. Make 2 pinch twists, then a 2.5 inch bubble, then another pair of pinch twists.
Make a 1 inch bubble, a pinch twist then another 1 inch bubble.
Wrap the green balloon around the white and twist last twist to first pair of pinch twists. Pull white balloon down until pinch twists sit just above "nose"
Bring the green balloon back so it sits part over and part behind the eyes and twist to other side to create top of head.
Bring the balloon back to the other side with a longer bubble to form mouth. Twist to pinch twists then break and tie off remainder of balloon.
Make a tulip twist on each end of a lime green 260. ( Go to Antenna technique for a method for doing this)
Place in between one set of pinch twist as shown.
Stretch across to other side (stretched portion of balloon hidden behind back bubble) then placed in between other set of pinch twists.

Eyes are drawn on white pinch twists. Teeth can be drawn on the portion of white balloon that shows through the mouth.

Entertainment tip: By holding the white balloon a few inches away from the head you can manipulate the balloon to animate the head to make him talk, do double takes or check for rain.
